USKF National Championships 2007 |
In the United Shotokan Karate Federation National Championships 2007, Savannah Coates came 1st in Kata 9-11 years, Nathan Coates came 1st in Ippon Kumite, Shane Coates came 1st in Kumite 12-15 years, Georgia Coates came 3rd in Senior Female Kumite, Eleanore Coates came 1st in Senior Female Kumite and Gino Coates came 1st in Senior Male Kata and 1st in Senior Male Kumite. Eleanore also won overall best female on the day... Congratulations to all!

Karate Grading March 2007 |
Congratulatons to Nathan & Shane Coates for successfully obtaining their brown belt grading. Both lads will be going for their 1st DAN Black belts next year. Congratulations also to Olivia and Georgia Coates for successfully passing their 3rd Brown belt grades. Both Olivia and Georgia will be going for their 1st DAN black belts in November. |

Congratulations to Rachael on her graduation in December 2006. Rachael was studying for a Bachelors degree in Information Technology and graduated with distinction and the top of her class. |

Congratulations to Christian and Samira on the birth of their first child. Nadine Coates was born on the 14th of November 2006. she was 3.45 Kg and was born a 11.16pm. |

| Scotland November 2006 |
Eleanore and Gino represented Ireland in The Scottish Nationals. Eleanore came 1st and Gino came 3rd.

| Black Belt Grading November 2006 |
Eleanore and Gino Coates sucessfully graded for their 1st and 2nd DAN black belts respectively under the World famous karate instructors Andy Sherry and Frank Brennan. |

| 06-08-06 | Dinner with our American Cousins
From left: Manni, Christian, Samira, Gillian, Dave, Emma and Jeanne On Sunday the 6th of August, we met up with some distant American Cousins for a nice dinner at The Cedar Tree, Lebanese restaurant in Dublin. Jeanne Calabrese (Jeanne's mother was a Pellegrinetti) and her family Dave, Emma, and Gillian were in Ireland for a holiday with their extended family, and arranged to meet up. We all had a very nice time discussing the Pellegrinetti family |
